NYC based makeup artist Leora Edut has a passion for creating glamorous and elegant looks. She began her training at MAC Cosmetics before moving on to work with celebrity clientele including Molly Sims, Rihanna, and budding pop artist Shontelle. Her career has led her around the world. Leora added a philanthropic contour to her career in 2008 when she began working with GEMS, an organization dedicated to helping young women and girls who have experienced commercial sexual exploitation and domestic trafficking to exit the commercial sex industry. She is also the co-creator of “The Art of Beauty Experience,” which teaches young women to celebrate their beauty through non-traditional art.

Emily is a stage and film actress and a producer. She founded Alacrity Project in 2006 with Hope College alumni to create acting opportunities for herself.

Georgiana is a Romanian-born actress and writer. She has done Off-Off Broadway plays and indie films. She has written a novel which is available on Amazon.com

Alacrity Project’s A Live Series at Arlene’s Grocery offers performance opportunities, professional video-recordings and support for self-initiated performers, including solo shows, readings, workshops, performance events, themed variety shows, and black-box style productions.
