36 Street Studio
260 West 36th Street,

Our  Monologue Jam provides actors and singers the opportunity to perform a monologue or song in front of an audience. High-quality video recordings are available, and more performance opportunities are available for those interested in producing their own work.

For the audition prepare one monologue or song under five minutes. A pianist will not be provided. Songs can be sung a cappella, or with your own background track.

Note: The purpose of this audition is for us to meet and see what material you are bringing, so we know where to place you in the line-up of the show, and for you to ask us any questions about our group. We will be holding more auditions in the future. If you cannot make this audition time, please email us with your interest, headshot/resume, and monologue or song. Video auditions can be submitted. Email us through the contact page and we can send you instructions for this. Future shows can include scenes, short plays and more for self-initiated performers of all types.

Performances are ongoing monthly, starting with May 19, June 30, and with following months’ dates TBD at Arlene’s Grocery in the Lower East Side, NY.
